Uttarakhand Worldwide Project in Uttarakhand school
This is the letter from the teacher of a school in remote Uttarakhand village of which we are sponsoring a few students. Three students do not have both parents and a few do not have at least one parent. A few are based on merit.
The relatives of these kids who do not have parents pay them Rs 5 or Rs. 10 to show their sympathy but no one tries to send these kids to schools.

Top right - Left to right - Anandraj Thapa(Brilliant in studies), Swati, Lakshmi and Ranjana (Three sisters- In total they are 9 sisters and their father is unemployed) and Ashish Sriyal (Below powerty line)
Bottom left- Sushmita and Kajal (Father died a few years back.)
Bottom right - Vandana, one of the 4 girls whose parents died recently and grandpa looks after them who is also very serious. People donate a few Rs to these kids but they have no one who can look after them. Please help.
